Beatrice : Impact report
This report, published in March 2023, shows that the Beatrice Community Fund invested £6 million in the local communities during the construction and operation of the offshore wind farm.
The report highlights the impact of the wind farm on local jobs, skills creation and enhancing community assets. The report also highlights the impact of the investments against the UN Sustainable Development Goals.

The Beatrice Offshore Wind Farm provided a community fund worth a total of £6m to benefit groups and organisations in the Highlands and Moray. The funding was made available over five years and across three funding strands.
In December 2016, we launched the first of the strands - the 'Beatrice Partnership Fund'. This invested a total of £3m in community projects across Highland (£2m) and Moray (£1m).
In July 2021, the Partnership Fund awarded its final round of grants.
The funding has now been awarded in full and the fund is closed to applications.
Open for applications from May 2017, this strand of community funding made £2m available for investment in community projects in the following Caithness community council areas:

Wick
-
Tannach and District
-
Latheron Lybster and Clyth

Berriedale and Dunbeath
A representative panel of community members decided which applications were funded.
The funding has now been awarded in full and the fund is closed to applications.
The Beatrice Moray Local Fund was launched in July 2017 and provided a total of £1m over five years for investment in community projects in the following Moray community council areas:

Keith
-
Lennox
-
Strathisla
A representative panel of community members decided which applications were funded.
The funding has now been awarded in full and the fund is closed to applications.
